Computer Engineering

The department of computer engineering was established to meet the demand for well qualified computer professionals and was conceived in the year 1999. The department offers 3 year diploma for 10th pass students and 2 year diploma for 12th pass students through lateral entry. The program focuses on theoretical as well as software application development. Department has well qualified and vibrant faculty dedicated for the betterment of the students. Most of the students passed out are well placed or have opted for higher studies. The department has provided well equipped computer labs with latest computer software. The labs are installed with leased line internet facility. The annual intake of the department is 120 students. The department ensures that program objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored through periodical test and assignments.

Scope of the Branch

After passing three year diploma in Computer Engineering, the students can opt for higher studies. The successful candidates can look for opportunities in areas like manufacturing companies, telecommunication companies, financial companies, retail companies, agriculture industries etc. They can take up their job positions like programmer, system analyst cloud architect among many others.

The Computer Engineering department works with the objective of addressing challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academics .The department is having highly qualified faculty whose complete objective is to provide a support center to our students so they continue to develop their technical skills. We in the Computer Engineering department focus on subjects like Cloud Computing, Data Management and Web Development and off course Basics of Computer.
The students in GPW, Faridabad are prepared with the skills required to face the challenges of future. They gain complete practical knowledge.
